Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and organized individual to join our team as a Primary Care Clinical Assistant. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals, handle phone calls and messages, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Answer incoming calls, book appointments, and direct patients to the appropriate healthcare professional.
  2. Coordinate referral appointments with specialists or diagnostic imaging centers.
  3. Follow up on outstanding referrals to ensure timely completion.
  4. Clean and prepare exam rooms for patients.
  5. Manage medical supplies and order new stock as needed.
  6. Process vaccine orders from Public Health authorities.
  7. Maintain accurate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) using the Oscar system.
  8. Update patient records with medical history, family history, and prevention profiles.
  9. Support healthcare professionals by escorting patients to exam rooms and assisting with procedures.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have previous experience working in a medical setting and be proficient in using EMR systems. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $42,000 - $52,000, based on 30-35 hours of work per week.
