Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Care Assistant to join our team at North Yorkshire County Council. As a key member of our staff, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities in Whitby.

About the Role
  • Salary: £11.90 per hour
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Full Time

The successful candidate will work across both schemes and undertake some outreach work to support individuals with varying needs. This role requires flexibility, as you will need to deliver support in all aspects of daily living and personal care in a dignified manner.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide person-centred care and support to tenants to enable them to participate in everyday activities
  2. Work collaboratively with the team to deliver individualised support plans
  3. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
