Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team at Glen Hill Medical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. As an RPN, you will utilize your expertise in triaging and obtaining vitals, injection administration, and medical terminology to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties
The RPN will perform the following key responsibilities:
  • Administer injections as prescribed by physicians.
  • Triage patients and take vitals.
  • Handle physician referrals (sending and monitoring for acceptance).
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures when required for diagnostic testing.


Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license in the province of practice.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.


Job Details
This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include on-site parking. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed. A valid Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license is required, as well as phlebotomy experience.
