About the Role
Glen Hill Medical is seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. This full-time position involves providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with multiple doctors of different disciplines. Key Responsibilities
The RPN will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Administering injections as prescribed by physicians.
  • Triaging patients and taking vitals.
  • Handling physician referrals (sending and monitoring for acceptance).
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
  • Performing phlebotomy procedures when required for diagnostic testing.


Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
  • Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license in the province of practice.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.


What We Offer
This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include on-site parking. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed. A valid Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license is required, as well as phlebotomy experience.
