Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team as a Healthcare Professional responsible for providing comprehensive patient care to individuals with nephrology needs. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:- To utilize the nursing process in providing individualized patient care.
- To participate as a member of the healthcare team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- To maintain competence and professionalism relevant to current practice standards.
- To record and maintain accurate patient information.
- Diploma in Nursing from an accredited community college;
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (in good standing);
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
- Updated nursing skills, including Aseptic Techniques and Patient Assessment Courses;
- Current Certificate in Medication Administration;
- Experience caring for patients with nephrology needs;
- Evidence of ongoing education related to the position requirements;
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Physical ability to perform duties requiring manual lifting, turning, and transferring patients.
The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
