About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our community team in Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be supporting patients and families in their time of greatest need, providing free specialist palliative care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Support patients with their daily needs, including hygiene and medication management
- Monitor symptoms and provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements
- 6 months' experience in a healthcare setting
- National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Functional skills at level 2 in numeracy and literacy or equivalent

- 6 Months care delivery experience (current) in a Health or Social Care Environment.

- National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 in Health and Social Care OR an equivalent alternative Level 2 Qualification NCFE level 2 Certificate in Healthcare Support Services, BTEC level 2 Health and Social Care.
