About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support and Care Worker to join our team in a Waking Night Support Worker role at Camphill Village Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred support and care to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and distressed behaviours/emotions.
- Work under the direction of the Team Leader to plan and deliver support and care plans, recording and reviewing progress as directed.
- Support individuals to maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming living environment, including laundry and meal preparation.
- Encourage healthy lifestyles, including attending medical appointments and managing finances.
- Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
Requirements:
- Experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and distressed behaviours/emotions (training will be provided).
- Current, valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
- General education, good numeracy, and literacy skills, with a Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Care (or equivalent) preferred.
