About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support and Care Worker to join our team in a Waking Night Support Worker role at Camphill Village Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support and care to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and distressed behaviours/emotions.
  • Work under the direction of the Team Leader to plan and deliver support and care plans, recording and reviewing progress as directed.
  • Support individuals to maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming living environment, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Encourage healthy lifestyles, including attending medical appointments and managing finances.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.

Requirements:

  • Experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and distressed behaviours/emotions (training will be provided).
  • Current, valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
  • General education, good numeracy, and literacy skills, with a Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Care (or equivalent) preferred.
