About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Associate Manager to join our team at SC Johnson Professional. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving growth and sales through excellent communication and planning with retailers.

About the Team/Department

You will report to the Sales Director and work closely with cross-functional teams to bring together Brand and Retailer strategies to win with shoppers. Your role will span across commercial functions, including sales, marketing, and category, to deliver the best results for SC Johnson Professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the voice of the shopper and customer, leveraging shopper/consumer insights to lead engaging and compelling narratives to drive distribution.
  • Lead preparation of SC Johnson Professional's communication with retailers, working with Marketing and Sales managers to ensure our messages land with impact.
  • Connect with Media and creative agencies to secure impactful presentations of Brands creativity and media plans.
  • Attend key customer meetings and present creative marketing ideas and excellence.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to build NPD proposals, ensuring our innovation is highly distributed across channels.
  • Share publicly available data about competitors' communication.
  • Take the lead in running our Sales and Marketing integration, ensuring timely action plans are shared and implemented.
  • Identify new opportunities and customers to grow SC Johnson Professional's distribution.

Experience you'll bring:

  • Good experience of Account Management and working with UK retailers.
  • Working cross-functionally to be the link between Sales, Marketing, and Category.
  • A good understanding of the UK retail landscape and how to bring that to life.
  • Marketing experience desired, but not essential.
