About the Team/Department

You will be reporting to the Sales Director and working closely with the commercial functions, including sales, marketing, and category teams. Your role will involve bringing together brand and retailer strategies to drive mutual growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow SC Johnson's distribution and sales through effective communication and planning with retailers.
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that our messages land with impact and align with our brand and retailer strategies.
  • Connect with media and creative agencies to secure impactful presentations and media plans for customers and internal communications.
  • Attend key customer meetings and present creative marketing ideas and excellence to support the sales and marketing teams.
  • Develop and implement NPD proposals, including live demos, to ensure that our innovation is highly distributed across channels.
  • Share publicly available data about competitors' communication to inform our strategies.
  • Lead the sales and marketing integration, ensuring timely action plans are shared and implemented, and progress is tracked against agreed plans.
  • Identify new opportunities and customers to grow SC Johnson's distribution and sales.
  • Investigate new channels to expand our reach and growth.

Experience and Skills:

  • Good experience of account management and working with UK retailers.
  • Strong cross-functional skills, with the ability to link sales, marketing, and category teams.
  • A good understanding of the UK retail landscape and how to bring it to life.
  • Marketing experience is desired but not essential.
