Primary Purpose

This role focuses on developing and maintaining a functional Service Rate Calculator tool for service contracts, applying data mining techniques, and building high-quality prediction systems to drive product performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and improving sales and operational processes.
  • Big data management: analyzing data to increase value for Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc and dealers.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to the dealer/customer experience.
  • Developing and controlling KPI packages to measure customer efficiency and advising customers on their fleet.
  • Financial reporting and pipeline management for management reviews.

Key Accountabilities

Big Data Analytics

Development:

Reviewing technical content of service manuals to be aware of accurate maintenance and repair data.

Data Collection:
Ensuring an efficient process and well-functioning tool to retrieve and register information about service costs in the field.

User Support:

Acting as a helpdesk for dealers with questions regarding service cost calculations.

Customer and Dealer Management

Fleet Account Management and customer setup (OneXP)

Providing support to commercial teams, support department colleagues with general administrative duties as required, and providing cover during absence.

Knowledge Required

  • BS level education, preferably in numerically related or Computer Science/Data Science/Decision Science and business administration disciplines.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role with data-driven work and relationship management plus hands-on data-driven work.
