Role Overview

RSS National Careers seeks an experienced Youth Support Team Leader to lead two 1-bedded homes in Lancaster and Skipton, supporting young people with complex needs.

About the Role

  • As a Residential Home Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintaining high standards of care and support for residents.
  • Work closely with external partners, including The Princes Trust, to open doors to opportunities for young people in your care.
  • Support staff development, including mentoring those pursuing Level 5 qualifications.
  • Manage on-call duties and collaborate with your Deputy Manager to ensure smooth operations across both locations.

Your Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in supporting vulnerable young adults. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of staff in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young people.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborating with external agencies to ensure seamless transitions and ongoing support for young people.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £52,000 - £68,000 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
