Primary School Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to join our team at Windy Arbor Primary School. Located in Solihull, we offer a unique opportunity to work with children who have an eagerness and desire to learn.
About the RoleThis is a fixed-term position until July 2025, working 30 hours per week (8.30am-3.30pm, with a 1-hour break). The role involves supporting learning across primary school and working mainly in year 5, with flexibility to work across our provision including in our Additional Resource Provision for pupils with a diagnosis of Autism.
As a member of our team, you will be expected to support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will also be responsible for assisting with administrative tasks and contributing to the overall success of the school.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
- Assisting with classroom management and organization
- Providing individualized support to students with varying needs
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on student progress
