Job Title: Education Support Assistant - KS2

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our Key Stage 2 students. As an Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential.

Salary:

The salary for this role is £25,716 per annum (minimum), based on a 35-hour working week. This is a competitive salary for a teaching assistant position in the Birmingham area.

Job Description:

As an Education Support Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to our students. Your duties may include assisting with lesson planning, preparing materials, and providing individualized support to students who require additional help.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have experience of working with children, preferably in a school setting, and hold a relevant qualification such as a Level 2 or higher in Childcare or Education.

You will also need to be knowledgeable about the Key Stage 2 curriculum and have experience of teaching phonics interventions. A commitment to supporting the development of SEND pupils is essential, as well as a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
