About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Special Education Support Assistant to join our team at Connex Education. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education and dedicated to providing support to students with special educational needs.

Our school provides a nurturing environment, where students feel safe and supported. We have a strong focus on delivering high-quality education and creating a vibrant learning space that encourages student success.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, enabling them to reach their full potential.
  • To work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement tailored learning plans.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to regular reviews and updates.

Requirements

  • A Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification or equivalent UK Educational qualification.
  • Previous experience working with SEN students, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Team Teach training would be advantageous.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply through Connex Education.
