At our school, we're committed to providing exceptional educational experiences for pupils with severe learning difficulties and complex behaviours. We're seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our team as soon as possible.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you'll have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students. As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our teaching team, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.

You'll need to have a proven background and experience of successfully working in a special school environment, be able to form good working relationships with students, and be an excellent role model. You'll also need to have excellent skills in responding to and resolving challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to students with severe learning difficulties and complex behaviours
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement effective support strategies
  • Assist with lessons and activities, promoting student engagement and participation
  • Use positive behaviour management techniques to promote a calm and respectful learning environment
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a starting salary of approximately £24,702 per annum (pro-rata), rising to £27,334 per annum (pro-rata) depending on experience. In addition, we provide opportunities for professional development and training, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.
