Job Description

KS2 SEND Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join our all-age special school in Solihull.

This school caters to students with a statement of Special Educational Needs (SEN), primarily focusing on moderate learning difficulties, with the primary need being Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

The Role:

As a Key Stage 2 SEND Teacher, you will be delivering engaging and tailored lessons that incorporate multi-sensory approaches with the support of several learning assistants.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to cater to students with SEN.
  2. Work closely with learning assistants to provide one-on-one support and adapt the curriculum as needed.
  3. Use sensory aids to help students navigate the curriculum in a way that suits their needs.

Requirements:

  1. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  2. DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain
  3. Experience in SEN teaching
