About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd, supporting children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons, adapt materials and resources, and provide individualized support to pupils.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with physical or learning disabilities, autism, and behavioural difficulties.
- Providing individualized support to help pupils achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials and resources as required.
- Monitoring and recording pupils' progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and parents as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
- Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies for supporting pupils with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum (equivalent to £95-£105 per day)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm
