We are seeking a qualified and experienced Intervention Support Specialist to join our team at a lovely 2-form-entry primary school in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will provide targeted intervention programs for students who require additional support in key areas of their learning.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. As an Intervention Support Specialist, you will work closely with classroom teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to design and deliver effective interventions to help students overcome barriers to learning.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in KS2, QTS, and completed induction/ECT. They will possess excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff, and have a calm and adaptable approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted intervention programs for students who require additional support
  • Work closely with classroom teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to design and deliver effective interventions
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
  • QTS and completed induction/ECT
  • Experience teaching in KS2
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Calm and adaptable approach
Salary and Benefits
