Part-Time Courier

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Part-Time Courier to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our driving team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while ensuring timely and efficient delivery of mail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving and collecting bulk mail from major customers, Post Offices, and transporting mail between our Mail Centres and Delivery offices at prearranged times.
- Loading and unloading your van and sorting it into correct onward distribution.
- Providing exceptional customer service and being the public face of Royal Mail.
Requirements:
- A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address), having less than 6 penalty points is essential but ideally, a clean licence is preferred.
- A Periodic Driver Certificate of Professional Competence qualification (CPC) and a valid Drivers Qualification Card (DQC) with 35 hours training.
- The ability to work flexible shift patterns and walk during rounds.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary of £24,000 per annum, paid weekly with increments at 6 months and 12 months subject to satisfactory performance.
- 22.5 days of holiday entitlement on entry rising with length of service (pro-rata).
- A contributory Pension Scheme and full uniform provided for contracts of longer than 3 months.
