Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Part-time Postal Specialist to join our team at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Courier Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining an effective sortation, delivery, and collection service for mail, parcels, and routine specimens throughout the Trust.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience dealing directly with the public in a customer service led environment and possess basic knowledge and understanding of the NHS. You will also be able to use Microsoft applications, work under pressure, and maintain excellent telephone manner.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Maintain an effective sortation, delivery, and collection service for mail, parcels, and routine specimens throughout the Trust.
  • Work on the Postal Reception desk and provide advice on National/international courier and mailing systems.
  • Deal with customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Good Standard of General Education
  • Proven experience dealing directly with the public in a customer service led environment
  • Working to deadlines
  • Postal experience
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the NHS
