Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at SuperCare Residential. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to vulnerable children and young people in our residential setting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to children and young people, including key working and daily living activities.
- Work in partnership with children, families, social workers, and other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that each child's needs are met and their goals are achieved.
- Take responsibility for the upkeep of the residential setting, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all residents.
- Administer medication, manage budgets, and maintain accurate records as required.
- Support children and young people in developing their life skills, including personal care, cooking, and household management.
- Respond to safeguarding concerns and report incidents as necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting.
- Level 3 CYPW or above (or currently working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care).
- Ability to drive and hold a valid driving license.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
