About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Customer Service individual to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Customer Support Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for any customer queries and will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Liaise with internal departments to execute orders and ensure seamless customer experience
  • Process orders onto the system and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor and track lead times, order and production status, and keep customers updated
  • Provide status updates and communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Build quotations to send to customers and negotiate prices

Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience in customer support within a manufacturing environment and will be IT literate with proficiency in the Microsoft Package. They will be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing, and will possess great time management and organisational skills. Previous experience using SAP is also desirable.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary between £24,000 - £26,000 and a generous holiday allowance and pension scheme. You will also have the opportunity to work with a well-established team within a welcoming organisation.
