Breast Cancer Now is a leading UK and Ireland-based research and support charity. Our mission is to ensure that everyone affected by breast cancer receives the best possible treatment, services, and care.

We're seeking a talented Senior Press & PR Officer to join our press, PR & celebrity team for 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our corporate partnerships and high-value fundraising events through effective communication strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the charity sector. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote our corporate partnerships and high-value fundraising events
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, journalists, external partners, and advocates
  • Work collaboratively with our press, PR & celebrity team to bring our work to life and raise awareness of our cause
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., communications, marketing, journalism)
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the charity sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
