Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner: Delivering Mental Health Support

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for delivering evidence-based psychological therapies to support people experiencing anxiety and depression. As a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you will be working within our dynamic and experienced team to provide high-quality care to patients in primary care settings.
Responsibilities- Work with adults across the age range, providing brief structured supported treatments such as guided self-help.
- Nominate two London NHS Talking Therapies services as your preference for training.
- Participate in UCL's full-time PWP training program, which includes attending university one day a week and working in service the remaining four days a week.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or equivalent academic ability, with clear evidence of education or training at a level equivalent to a degree.
- Evidence of working with people who have experienced mental health problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone skills.
The estimated salary for this position is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive comprehensive training and development opportunities, as well as a supportive work environment that fosters continuous learning and growth.
