Job Title: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to support our team in a school setting.

This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong academic background in Psychology and are looking to gain experience in a teaching environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with teachers and students to support the learning process, develop their skills and knowledge, and contribute to the success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and developing teaching materials
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching resources and materials
  • Working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and promote academic achievement
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation
  • Observing and recording student progress to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced educational setting and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Psychology
  • Experience in a teaching or tutoring role, preferably in a school setting

Working Conditions:

This role is based in a school setting and may require working during school hours. The teaching assistant will work closely with teachers and students to support the learning process and contribute to the success of our students.
