SEN Teaching Assistant Role for Psychology Graduates

Ribbons & Reeves is seeking a talented Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and dedicated to supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role

This SEN Teaching Assistant role is based at a mainstream secondary school with a high percentage of students with SEN and SEMH needs. As a Psychology Graduate, you will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs, aged between 11-16. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized support plans, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support to succeed academically and personally.

Requirements
  • Psychology Graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree classification
  • Impressive academic record at GCSE and A-Level
  • Calm and patient individual with a passion for education
  • Ability to demonstrate a deep-rooted belief that all children can succeed at school regardless of barriers
What We Offer

We offer a competitive daily rate of £85-£95, paid on a weekly basis through PAYE. This is a long-term contract until July 2024, with opportunities for permanent contracts commencing August 2024. Interviews and start dates are available ASAP.
