Job Title: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Job Type:

This is a permanent, full-time position.

Salary:

The salary for this role is £600 - £800 per week.

Benefits:

This role includes PAYE benefits.

Job Duties:
  • Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and promote academic success.
  • Observe and record student progress to inform teaching strategies.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

Experience:

Experience working with children or young adults.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of psychological principles and theories.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced educational setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Psychology.
  • Experience in a teaching or tutoring role.
Working Conditions:

This role is based in a school setting and may require working during school hours. The teaching assistant will work closely with teachers and students to support the learning process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
