Role Overview

At Ribbons and Reeves, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at our Mitcham-based SEMH school. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 5-16 with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to students with complex SEMH needs, ensuring their emotional and academic growth.
  • Act as a Key Worker for 14-16 year olds, offering a safe, empathetic, and nurturing presence.
  • Support students in developing coping strategies and techniques to manage their mental health.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
