SEN Teaching Assistant for SEMH Students

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves Limited. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people with complex mental health needs.
About the RoleAs a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with students aged 14-16 as their Key Worker. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.

What You Will Be DoingSome of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one support to students in the classroom and during extracurricular activities
- Developing and implementing personalized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless support
- Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns or issues to senior staff
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for supporting young people with SEMH needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of special educational needs and disability law
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
