We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEND Teaching Assistant at a mainstream secondary school in Mitcham, London. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with SEN and SEMH needs, helping them to achieve their full potential and reach their goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to students with SEN and SEMH needs in a mainstream secondary school setting
  • Working with teaching staff to develop tailored support plans for each child
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Communicating effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure seamless support

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to be a Psychology Graduate with a minimum of a 2:1 degree classification. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team. In addition, you will need to be willing to undergo training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

The salary for this role is £96 per day, equivalent to £500 per week, paid on a weekly basis via PAYE. You will also receive a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities, and the chance to work with a diverse and talented team of professionals.
