About the Role

We are seeking three experienced Site Supervisors to join our Control Period 7 (CP7) enhancements portfolio in the Wales & Western region to deliver several new stations located in West Devon, Somerset and Gloucestershire alongside a series of Access for All (AfA) projects spread across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervising and managing the contract activities on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, policies and procedures.
  • Leadership: Leading by example and promoting a positive safety culture and a right first time attitude among the site team and the supply chain.
  • Communication: Communicating clearly and effectively with the site management, the client, the local community and other stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring the delivery of a quality product that meets the customer's requirements and expectations.
  • Profit Maximization: Maximising the profitability of the project by identifying and recording changes, managing resources efficiently and closing out defects and deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Team Development: Supporting and developing your team members and sharing best practices and lessons learned across the sector.
About You

We are looking for individuals with previous experience as a site supervisor, undertaking similar work, ideally in Wales or Western. A valid SSSTS qualification (preferably SMSTS or working towards SMSTS) and a valid CSCS card are also required. Additionally, a good level of IT skills and a strong commitment to the Octavius values of integrity, caring, progressive, openness and quality are essential.
