Team Overview:
As part of our On Train team, Conductors play a vital role in ensuring seamless travel experiences. Collaborating closely with Ticket Examiners and train drivers, you will be an integral part of our operational success.
Role Summary:
In the position of Conductor, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding customer journey while prioritizing safety. Your adaptability to diverse situations and individuals will be key in fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Main Responsibilities:
- Act as a representative of Great Western Railway, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and safe travel.
- Maintain visibility to assist customers with information and support in a friendly manner.
- Oversee the safety and operational functions of the train.
- Manage ticket checking and sales, providing necessary assistance.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for all passengers.

This role is based at our depot, serving as the starting and ending point for your shifts.
Additional Information:
Shifts will include early starts, late finishes, weekends, and holidays, averaging 35 hours per week. You must have reliable transportation to and from the depot, as public transport may not be available during certain hours. Candidates must reside within a 60-minute commute of the depot.
