Clinical Lead Mental Health Nurse

We are looking for a registered nurse with a mental health background and experience of inpatient services to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. This is a Band 6 Nurse position that requires excellent clinical skills and leadership qualities.

Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based care. They will work in conjunction with the Service Manager to set, maintain, and audit clinical standards in adherence to local and national priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising the role of named nurses in care planning
  • Working alongside the Clinical Nurse Specialist on complex cases
  • Participating in service improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships, and a thorough understanding of care planning and the Care Programme Approach.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a mental health background, experience of inpatient services, and the ability to manage complex situations. A thorough understanding of relevant legislation and care planning principles is also essential.
