Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ellie Mental Health - 119. This full-time position involves working 12 hour shifts, alternating between weekends and evenings, with a total of 36 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:
  • This role involves providing patient care on Med Surg 4 West, a 32-bed adult medical surgical telemetry unit.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to promote and restore patients' health.
  • A diverse range of patient populations, including those with gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, and respiratory illnesses, will be cared for by the selected individual.
Key Responsibilities:
  • The nurse will plan and provide patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and guidelines.
  • Effective management of patients will be assumed by the nurse, who will take full responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Requirements:
  • Two years of current experience as a Med/Surg RN is preferred.
  • Telemetry experience is also preferred.
  • A BSN degree is preferred.
  • A valid MA RN license is required.
  • AHA Healthcare Provider BLS (AHA or ARC) certification is also required.
Benefits:
  • A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for newly hired experienced RNs with two years of experience in the specialty.
  • Newly hired experienced RNs may also be eligible for a retention bonus of $10,000 after committing to a minimum of two years of employment.
