Cocktail Bar Supervisor

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation of our Cocktail Bar, Function Bar, and outdoor Terraces. Reporting to the F&B Manager, the main duties include:
- Leading a team of 6+ bar staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Conducting monthly beverage stocktakes and weekly ordering sheets to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Maintaining the personal presentation of staff, including uniform and personal hygiene, to reflect the hotel's high standards.
- Ensuring the bar is opened and closed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Developing and implementing seasonal cocktail and beverage menus to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
- Achieving Mystery Guest and AA Standards for the department through effective training and coaching of the bar team.
- Leading by example in achieving and implementing hotel key standards, including cleanliness and presentation of front and back of house areas.
- Effective induction and training plans for new starters, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Training, coaching, and mentoring the bar team to ensure excellent performance and motivation.
- Daily briefings for the team on special service requirements, promotions, and issues.
- Liaising with the Restaurant and Bar Manager to develop and improve the bar service offering to guests and visitors.
Requirements;
- 45 hours per week, various shifts over 5 days including weekends.
- Smart appearance and the passion and confidence to lead the team.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service.
- Ability to host with a warm and welcoming personality.
- Supervisory/management experience within a quality bar operation, ideally within a 4-star/5-star rated hotel.
- Ability to manage and motivate the team.
- Must have own transport due to semi-rural location.
