Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, doctors, staff, and other healthcare professionals. This will involve acting as the first point of contact for patients, handling inquiries efficiently and courteously, and portraying the practice in a positive and professional manner.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the front desk operations, including receiving patients, processing appointments, and handling administrative tasks.
- Work collaboratively with the practice team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both manually and electronically.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a GP practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Good education with a high level of literacy skills.
- Computer literacy, with experience in using Windows-based software and other relevant systems.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
