About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Bid Coordinator to join a thriving UK engineering business as part of a global engineering group of companies.

As a Bid Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting and coordinating a diverse range of bids and proposals for customer projects. This will involve close liaison with engineering teams, Business Development Managers, and some customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate bids and proposals for customer projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Liaise with engineering teams and Business Development Managers to gather information and support the commercial team with technical support pre and post tender submission.
  • Work on projects with varying values, from £50K to £1m+, covering electrical and electronic systems design, test, and commissioning of integrated safety, control, and automation systems.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a role where you have gained experience of producing proposals, bids, and tenders for engineering and technical projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with engineering and commercial teams.
  • Experience working within an engineering or technical environment, with the ability to review and interpret technical information and engineering drawings.
