Job Title: Facilities Coordinator

Farrer & Co is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of our office premises, including office spaces, conference rooms, kitchens, and common areas.
  • Coordinate and oversee repairs, maintenance, and service contracts for building systems and equipment.
  • Manage and track all assets and associated timescales through database provision and planners.
  • Assist in space planning and allocation, ensuring that the office layout meets the needs of the firm and adheres to health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee office moves, reconfigurations, and desk assignments as needed.
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety standards in accordance with UK regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.
  • Liaise with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of services, repairs, and maintenance work.
  • Manage internal relationships and contracts.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct regular drills, and ensure the availability of first-aid and emergency equipment.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience working in a professional services firm, with listed buildings experience being advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
