About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Matron to lead the Child Health specialty area at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career as a senior nurse leader and make a positive impact on patient care.

Job Description
  • Manage the Nursing teams within the Child Health specialties.
  • Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan and Care Group agenda.
  • Develop and implement service objectives within available resources.

The successful candidate will have evidence of operational management experience in an acute hospital setting, ward sister/charge nurse/team lead experience, and experience working within the Child Health environment or similar acute areas. They will also be able to demonstrate leadership skills and provide effective management of Nursing teams.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, based on location and experience.

This role requires a registered healthcare professional qualification, mentorship qualification, degree or relevant experience, and post-registration courses equivalent to level 3 or higher. Leadership and management qualifications are desirable.
