About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse / ODP to join our HPB & Vascular Theatre team as a Deputy Team Leader. The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills and a passion for robotic surgery. As a Deputy Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the current team in managing the service and developing the robotic surgery programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team in managing the service and developing the robotic surgery programme
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the most efficient and safe manner
  • Ensure the provision of holistic patient care in accordance with Divisional and Hospital policies and procedures
Person Specification
  • Current level 1 NMC Registration or HPC Registration Part 1
  • Posession of Mentoring Course or equivalent teaching qualification
  • 2 years speciality experience
  • Experience of robotic surgery
  • An Advanced Surgical Practitioner Qualification or equivalent
