About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Theatre Practitioner to join our team as a Deputy Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our existing band 6 colleagues and team leader to support our excellent team in continuously developing our elective service.

Main Responsibilities
  • To support staff in ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care in the most efficient and safe manner in accordance with Divisional and NUH policies and procedures.
  • To demonstrate a keen interest in improving and developing leadership skills to enable management of staff, coordination of the unit, and being an effective role model demonstrating high levels of clinical competence and expertise.
  • To be involved in service improvement, with some evidence of change management.
  • To demonstrate skills in self-management, including time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • To have a flexible attitude to work, be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and have the capacity to go the extra mile.

  • HCPC/NMC Registration.
  • Junior/Supervisory management course (desirable).
