Securing New Business and Growing Customer Relationships

Monotype, a leading provider of type and technology solutions, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join its Mid-Market team. As an Associate Mid-Market Account Executive, you will play a critical role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the Sub-100M space, while also nurturing existing customer relationships to drive growth and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research to identify targeted leads and accounts, understanding decision-makers, buying cycles, and customer needs to inform effective sales follow-up.
  2. Generate new business opportunities through cold-calling and lead qualification, leveraging internal marketing programs and accounts identified for Inside Sales coverage.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service, answering queries and spotting opportunities for future sales.
  4. Deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales engagements to showcase Monotype's offerings and expertise.
  5. Collaborate with the Sales Director and Sales Manager to drive sales pipeline management, accurately tracking customer data, and business insights.
  6. Engage current customers through telephone and email to maintain relationships and increase potential add-on products and services.
  7. Maintain and organize database reports to deliver valuable insights to the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in opportunity qualification, sales calls, and prospect management.
  • Fluency in English and preferably French.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to engage customers.
  • Excellent data analytics skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with customer relationship management software (Salesforce) is a plus.
