Argyll and Bute Council, United Kingdom NHS Scotland Full time

NHS Scotland is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workforce, eliminating unlawful discrimination, and promoting equality of opportunity. Our goal is to create a truly representative workforce where each employee feels valued and empowered to excel.

The NHS Scotland Allied Health Professionals (AHP) bank is recruiting for various AHP roles within NHS Highland, offering opportunities for work in different locations and across various care groups, including acute and community hospitals, and community settings. These positions are available at Band 5, 6, or 7, depending on the individual's experience and service demand.

As a bank worker, you will have access to our electronic booking system, allowing you to manage your working arrangements flexibly based on available shifts. Bank workers are expected to deliver high-quality care within their professional group, with flexibility and reliability being key requirements.

All AHP staff must be registered with the relevant section of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) register.

If you believe you possess the relevant skills and experience, please apply. For further information about available opportunities, please contact Jennifer Bremner, who will connect you with the relevant professional lead.

NHS Scotland is transitioning to a 37-hour working week, effective 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also apply pro rata for part-time staff. However, some service areas may require temporary adjustments to accommodate the new working week.
