About the Role

NHS Highland is seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Adult Mental Health Psychological Therapies team in the beautiful surroundings of Mid Argyll. As a key member of the Mid Argyll, Kintyre and Islay (MAKI) Community Mental Health Team, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise in mental health, managing a caseload, and providing training, consultation, and clinical supervision to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat complex mental health cases
  • Provide training and consultation to colleagues
  • Manage a caseload of patients
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team

Requirements

  • Doctorate-level Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including remote and on-site working
