Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Lead Nurse in Mental Health to take on a professional nursing leadership role within NHS Highland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the standard of nursing practice across the lifespan of mental health nursing, across a range of hospital, community, social, and domestic settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing leadership and expert advice within the operational unit.
  • Take responsibility for establishment and workforce reviews, clinical governance, patient safety, and staff wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with operational managers to develop and support the mental health landscape.
  • Develop and implement professional workforce standards and safe quality person-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in mental health nursing and leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
