About the Role

As a key member of the Commercial Data Operations team at Whitbread, you will play a critical part in driving the growth strategy of the company. This involves implementing changes to support six key pillars for Whitbread's growth plan.

As a Business Lead, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of a pipeline of change for Premier Inn's hotel management system (Opera Cloud). You will become the subject matter expert for the Hotel Management System, acting as the focal point for the introduction of new functionality through the management and prioritization of a development backlog.

This is a 15-month secondment opportunity, offering a unique chance to work with a leading hospitality company and make a significant impact on its success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to teams across Operations and Support Centre in identifying and applying the most effective solutions to problems encountered with the HMS.
  • Facilitate and drive a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on process quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and refine new processes that enable more efficient and effective ways of working.

Requirements

A broad understanding of business processes supported by Central Reservation Systems and Property Management Systems is essential. Additionally, you should have good knowledge of Opera Cloud and experience working within teams delivering change/continuous improvement.

Strong fact-gathering and research skills, with a strong attention to detail, are also required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders are essential for this role.
