Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Administrative Assistant to join our team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the SMASH Care Community Team, ensuring that an efficient service is provided to the population of the Care Community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage calls, referrals, and support clinical staff to respond to the health needs of the population.
  • To exercise initiative and judgement in dealing with queries and referrals.
  • To build and maintain constructive relationships with others, both within the department and externally.
  • To be conversant with all required electronic systems for correspondence, including specialist computer systems.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • 5 GCSE's grade C or equivalent, including English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • ECDL or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
