Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join our Children and Families team in Gloucestershire. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will manage a caseload of up to 8 children and young people with complex needs, working closely with colleagues to develop and implement tailored support plans.
  • They will lead quality control initiatives, promoting best practices and driving improvement across the service.
  • This role requires strong relationship-building skills, as the candidate will work with team managers and other agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • The selected individual will be responsible for risk assessments, case reviews, and developing strategies to enhance outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of up to 8 children and young people with complex needs.
  • Lead quality control initiatives and promote best practices.
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans for children and families.

Requirements:

  • An estimated salary of £46,731 - £49,764 per annum.
  • A degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Post-qualifying experience in a social care setting.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
