Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Children's Service Coordinator to join our team in the Gloucestershire area. As a Senior Social Worker/Social Worker in the Disabled Children's Service, you will be responsible for delivering a first-class service to ensure the best outcomes for disabled children and young people of Gloucestershire. You will work closely with colleagues within the service and partner agencies to provide support and protection for children and young people in need and at risk.

The salary range for this position is between £37,938 - £40,476 per annum, subject to experience. In addition to the competitive salary, the role also offers a welcome payment of £4,000, annual retention payment of £2,000, up to £8,000 relocation package, flexible and agile working opportunities, and 25.5 days annual leave rising to 30.5 days after 5 years continuous service.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Deliver a first-class service to ensure the best outcomes for disabled children and young people of Gloucestershire.
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues within the service and partner agencies.
  • Provide support and protection for children and young people in need and at risk.
  • Be registered with Social Work England
  • Have a recognised qualification in Social Work
  • Have completed your ASYE year (if you qualified after 2012)
  • Holding a full driving licence and willingness to drive
  • Possess DBS clearance
