Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Community Learning Disabilities Team in Driffield, Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing assessments and treatments to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individuals' needs and develop personalized intervention plans.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Service Development: Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of Occupational Therapy Services within the trust.
  • Supervision: Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff members.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
  • HCPC Registration: Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Qualifications: Possess a degree in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualification approved by the HCPC.
  • Experience: Demonstrate experience working with adults with learning disabilities, preferably in a community setting.
  • Professional Development: Evidence continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the clinical area at a specialist level of care.
